The prestigious food event celebrated multiple L.A. chefs, restaurants, programs and nonprofits in its 2026 awards ceremony on Monday night.

On Monday, chefs, restaurateurs, and food lovers from across the country gathered in Chicago to celebrate this year's James Beard Awards.

The other local winner this year was Kevin Diedrich, head bartender and co-owner of San Francisco’s Pacific Cocktail Haven for Outstanding Professional in Cocktail Service award.
