Practice calculating equivalent resistance for resistors in parallel. In the special case where two equal resistors are in parallel, the equivalent resistance is half their value. Parallel resistance is always smaller than the smallest resistor, as it provides multiple current paths, effectively reducing the overall resistance in the circuit.
